Amofah for Strasburg trials

Ghanaian striker Mark Adu Amofah will spend the next month in Europe undergoing trials in France, Germany and Denmark as he seeks a move to Europe. The Bloemfontein Celtic striker is due in France on Tuesday with recently relegated Strasburg FC his first point of call.

The former Asante Kotoko player still has a year left on his Celtic contract but told KickOffGhana.com that he is keen to move on.

“I am hoping the trials will work out because I want to move on, he said. I am enjoying it here in South Africa but every players wants to play in Europe because it is of a higher level.”

Amofah is also keen for a move to Europe to further his national team ambitions.

A former junior international, he has been lost on the radar of national team selectors and complained in the past that “it is almost as if there is no honour in playing in South Africa.”

Ainsi, le Brésilien Marcos (YB Berne) serait fortement pressenti. L'opération pourrait être très prochainement officialisée. Par ailleurs, le Nigérian Mark Adu Amofah (20 ans) pourrait prochainement débarquer pour effectuer un essai de quelques jours. Un cran plus bas, les Alsaciens seraient sur la piste du Belge Alessandro Cordaro (Mons) et, surtout, du Franco-Marocain franco- Chahir Belghazouani (Dynamo Moscou).
